WW243: June 27- Master Moving Positions for Obedience, Rally, and Fun!

Course Details

This workshop is all about moving sits, stands, and downs! Whether you need moving positions for obedience, rally, or just to impress your friends, you will learn how to break these behaviors down in a way that makes teaching the skills attainable and fun!
During this workshop, we will first take a look at stationary position changes and then work on adding movement to those positions in a variety of ways. You will learn how to teach moving stands and downs that can be used for both obedience and rally. We’ll also cover teaching the moving sit similar to what you would need in the utility ring.

Here is a brief overview:

-Stationary position changes in heel
-Stationary position changes in front – adding distance
-Moving positions in heel
-Moving positions in front, going both away and toward handler

We’ll talk about useful props, placement of reward, teaching, troubleshooting, and more!
