Are you ready for more Nose Work challenges and fun? This class is for you! We will continue to build confidence and a strong stay at source behavior for our Nose Work dogs. Distractions will be emphasized as well as problem solving for both the dog and handler. Emphasis will be placed on keeping Nose Work fun for both the handler and dog while still building the needed drive to succeed and a strong obedience to odor. All elements of a trial will be covered and addressed, getting the team ready to compete.
We will cover common pitfalls to avoid in your training along with building and maintaining your dog's drive to search for odor. Strong commitment to staying at source will continue to be addressed.
This class is open for any dog that is on odor only and familiar with the Simek/Fenzi method of training. Teams that are struggling with Nose Work problems are welcome! This is a safe, supportive environment to work and problem solve.
