Course Details
Here it is! A chance to customize a Gun Dog course exactly suited for your current needs and skill level.
Gold Students can pick any topic(s) they would like to work on and tailor the six weeks of class to meet their needs. This could mean digging down into a particular topic such as delivery to hand, Whoa, Sit to Flush, quartering, steadiness, or analysis of blind retrieves. It could also mean a general skills progression - getting ready for "JH/SH/ MH, SHR/HR/HRCH, trailing tests, NAVHDA, or tuning up for the upcoming real world hunting season (just to name a few)".
Working Silver Students will have unlimited questions that relate to any gun dog topic, as well as the option for two one minute video submissions weekly.
As teams register at the Gold/Silver levels, the Syllabus for the term will be updated to show expected topics to be covered in the upcoming term. Because we are not limited by a set curriculum, there will be an immense amount of information given in this class - including problem solving, maintenance, team balancing, and progression work. We will be able to cover drills outside the scope of the general Gun Dog curriculum - games and exercises that can help fix specific problem areas or build confidence in new skills.
Finally, we have a place where all of the Gun Dog teams, of any level, can come together and share information, problem solving, and skill progressions in order to improve their own teamwork and the base of knowledge available to everyone.
